Submissions Guidelines

1. We usually say the video should have been made before you turned 21. The main thing is that it feels amateur. None of your boring aspirational film school productions here, please!

2. Videos of all lengths are accepted, but we reserve the right to trim the piece down for you a little. There are a lot of delusions to show in one night.

3. We ask that filmmakers attend the festival in Brooklyn. It’s a key part of the CDFF magic to experience your childhood film with other deluded filmmakers.
